Något har hänt
People with intellectual disabilities are particularly exposed to abuse. Accessible information about human rights and sexual violence is rare and society is often poorly equipped to meet people with norm-breaking functionality.
Något har hänt ("Something has happened") is an adapted material about sexual violence, resistance and rights. Tamkin helped build an accessible and inclusive web, illustrations and print. Visitors to någotharhänt.se can read, listen or see the same story, depending on how they prefer to take in information. We arranged the reading experience so that only one piece of text at a time is visible on the screen. That way disturbing elements are minimized and reading comprehension is facilitated.
The site also has a movie theater showing the project's web series and an adventure game where visitors can test how they would react to threatening situations. A dedicated section of the site offers tips and training for staff and relatives. Spring 2020.

Newcomers Youth
Newcomers Youth is a project supporting young LGBTQI asylum-seeking, refugee and new comer people in Sweden that are between 15-25 years old.
Tamkin built a website in Wordpress that helps Newcomers Youth present their activities and communicate with newcomers. Clean design and clear typography helps visitors who are not used to the Swedish language. The website's Youth Guide provides guidance in the asylum process, and an embedded chat from Smilee helps the audience make contact anonymously. Newcomers Youth is a collaboration project between RFSL Ungdom and RFSL. Spring 2017.

Filmregion Sydost
Filmregion Sydost helps filmmakers and film lovers in and around Växjö to create film and film culture. They asked us for help to create a better dialogue with local cineastes.
We developed a website in Drupal with a clear structure that presents Filmregon Sydost's main fields: filmmakers, educators and organizers. The blog serves as a hub for the site - through it the site overflows with inspiration, guides, interviews, movies, behind the scenes videos, documentaries, finished movies, and much more. Also, the region's film enthusiasts are invited to write their own guest posts.
By using Mailchimp to integrate the Filmregion Sydost newsletter with the site, we saved a lot of work for communicators. With an integrated booking system the public and schools can borrow equipment directly on the site. We also built a platform for the film festival TellUs. Visitors in the digital cinema darkness can easily participate with their own movies - and show their appreciation for other contributions by voting for their favorites. Spring 2015.

ActionSquare
Action Square seeks to inspire young people to improve the world. In 2014 we helped the newly started network to create a web presence and a visual identity.
The site was created in Nation Builder - a CMS designed for social movements in need of integrated membership management, fundraising, opportunities to create and coordinate events, and much more.
We also created Action Academy - the organization's own manual, packed with inspiration and tools for grassroots. We built the manual as a wiki, using the Wikimedia tool. This means visitors can help keep the manual updated and also contribute their own texts. Winter 2014.

Så funkar sex
"How sex works" - website with accessible, joyful and norm-critical material about sex.
For people with intellectual disabilities or cognitive difficulties, taking part of information on the internet can be a challenge. Also, people with disabilities are often deprived of the right to define who they are and what they like, and they often meet a lot of prejudices about their sexuality.
Along with the organization Forum Skill, we designed a website with accessible information about sex, relationships and sexuality. The target group – people with intellectual disabilities or cognitive difficulties – were involved throughout the whole process to test and comment on the designs. Spring 2014

Autumn 2012.
